Event Marketer Magazine has announced the winners of the 2004 Ex Awards, handed out at a gala event in Chicago on April 19.
The annual Ex Award program recognizes the best event marketing campaigns of the year across 16 categories. The program is judged by a panel of brand-side marketers and has become the sought-after trophy in the event marketing arena. The competition is open to marketers, agencies, suppliers, and manufacturers involved in the event, sponsorship, mobile, hospitality, production, nightlife, retail, tradeshows, and field-marketing arenas.
"The strength and creativity of this year's entries sends a clear and present signal that event marketing continues to attract marketing dollars, make connections, and move the needle," says Event Marketer editorial director Dan Hanover. "Our entire staff congratulates this year's winners."
The 2004 Ex Awards attracted more than 225 entries from hundreds of brands and agencies.
